Steve Olson, the Founder of Olson Toon Landscaping, opened his doors in Middleton, WI as Olson Wills Landscaping in 1997. He has worked for other firms since 1977, where he cultivated his landscape skill-set and developed a real passion for the business. During his growth in the field, Steve created a respected name while building his following in Greater Madison. Steve’s hard work and efforts to make every customer his number one priority allowed him to exercise his desire to venture out and begin his own company. The company has grown with Steve’s direction to a successful and respected design, build and maintenance landscape company in the area.
Al Toon, Jr. joined the Olson Toon team in 2011. He is an active and involved owner of Olson Toon, bringing his 20 years of business experience to the team. Al is a graduate of UW-Madison and a former professional athlete. He is also involved with several other service businesses in the area and has created a number of valued relationships in the marketplace. Al plans to help bring greater recognition to the forward thinking Olson Toon brand through exercising his experience in the field and extensive learned knowledge of customer needs.
Aaron Olson is the son of Steve Olson and grew up working summers with his father. After graduating from UW-Madison with a Business Degree, Aaron joined the Olson Toon team. Aaron has been running the operations and crews for the last seven years and has helped build the company into what it has become today. He has been a great addition to the team, as he has now earned well deserved respect of our landscape customers and partners through his hard work, knowledge and drive for success of the Olson Toon brand.

Brad is a lifetime resident of the Madison area. After attending Lakeside Lutheran High School, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UW-Madison. Brad has been a Landscape Designer with Olson Toon since 1998.
Paul was born and raised in South Dakota. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agriculture in Landscape Design (Spring of 1992). He moved to the Madison area in 2000 to work with Olson Toon and currently is on staff as a Landscape Designer.
Karen was born in Madison but raised in beautiful Richland County, where she served the city's Park Board, Tree Board & Main Street Design Committee. She has a degree in Biology from UW- LaCrosse and acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from UW -Madison in 1997. Karen and her husband Bob live in Arena and proud parents of 4 boys, including a son who is a member of the Army National Guard. In her spare time, Karen likes to train her 2 shelties, JAzzy & Journey, in agility. Karen joined Olson Toon in the Spring of 2018 and brings over 25 years of experience in design.
